In short: Some sites let landlords list rooms or homes for free, and social media groups cost nothing, but reach is usually smaller than the major portals, which only take listings through agents. Whatever you use, legal duties still apply: state the rent, show the EPC, don't exclude tenants on benefits or with children, and do right to rent checks.
