The site was bought by the Candy brothers and sold in 2008 to an Abu Dhabi consortium, who took the scheme forward. Chipperfield's design uses a calm, ordered stone façade that sits comfortably among the stucco of De Vere Gardens.
At launch in 2015, prices were reported from about £6 million for two-bedroom apartments to £30 million for a five-bedroom apartment overlooking the park.
High Street Kensington (Circle and District lines) and Gloucester Road (Piccadilly, Circle and District) are within walking distance; buses along Kensington Road to Knightsbridge and the West End.
