How to Calculate Price per Square Foot (and Use It Properly)

In short: Price per square foot is the price divided by the internal floor area. It's a quick way to compare homes of different sizes in the same area. Use the same measurement basis for each property, usually the gross internal area on the floor plan, and remember that smaller homes often have a higher £/sq ft, while outdoor space, condition, floor level and views also affect value.
