In short: There is no official public list of repossessed homes in the UK, and paid "repossession lists" often repeat ordinary listings. Lenders who repossess must get the best price reasonably available, so they usually sell through estate agents or property auctions. Some homes are marked "receivership" or "lender sale". Buying at auction means exchanging contracts when the hammer falls, so do your checks first. Fraser Bond helps buyers find value and helps investors let homes once bought.

Property auctions

Online and in-room auctions often include lender and receiver sales.

Estate agents

Many repossessions are listed like any other home, sometimes marked "lender sale".

Receivers

LPA receivers sell rented properties for lenders, sometimes with tenants in place.
